Designer Crush: Emily Wallach

Emily Wallach is a super stylish New Jersey based designer who launched her own interior design firm just a couple years ago. I love her aesthetic - elegant, comfortable and contemporary. She has such sophisticated taste, and her portfolio proves she is quickly becoming an accomplished designer. Her styling is impeccable! I also recommend you follow her blog - she gives out great decorating tips.

Designer Crush: Blair Harris

Lets just say I am slightly obsessed. You need to check out Blair Harris Interior Design. She has a super sophisticated aesthetic, using muted jewel tones and a neutral palette, her projects are so inviting. I am ready to move in. So jealous of the architecture of these old homes as well: exposed brick & beams, crown molding, beading, built-ins...so much character.

Designer Crush: Jeffrey Alan Marks

After coming across these first couple images from designer Jeffrey Alan Marks' portfolio on Pinterest, I was smitten. Two things I was drawn to are his ability to showcase art in his designs and his commitment to jewel toned colors. There is something masculine and elegant about using rich dark colors. I have seen so much white lately it is nice to see come variety. Happy weekend!

“We’re really into comfort. Not some abstract idea of what a comfortable room should be, but real comfort—the kind where you can happily drift off for an hour or two with your dog at your feet.”

Designer Crush: Kishani Perera

One reason Kishani Perera stands out to me is her designs appear very collected over time. None of her rooms look purchased - in fact almost all of them look like they have been slowly furnished by inhabitants that have been traveling the world hunting for and gathering eclectic treasures. As a result, each space is unique and beautiful. If you haven't read her book Vintage Remix, I strongly recommend it. She has a wonderful way of making pulling together looks that are current and cool.

Designer Crush: Riesco & Lapres

I am in love with Canadian Designers Nancy Riesco & Rebecca Lapres. If their portfolio was a store I would want everything!!! You can tell they are so selective when where and how they introduce color which means the smallest details make a big impact. These rooms feel very open and uncluttered, but they also have a sense of humor and character. It makes me want to go home and clear all my surfaces and put half of everything back. I had such a difficult time selecting pictures for this post because they have a great portfolio and I couldn't narrow it down - Enjoy!

Designer Crush: Tim Barber

I crush on so many different styles. Architect and Interior Designer Tim Barber offers a sophisticated and classic aesthetic. I appreciate how his designs are classic yet contemporary and his team is clever in maximizing space with lots of built-ins and bright nooks.
