Thanks Furbish & C. Wonder!

How do you spend your birthday money?!?! Well I stretched my birthday cash as far I could and am super excited. As you can tell I have a slight pillow obsession. I may or may not have a closet in my basement that is stuffed full of pillows that I love and haven't found a home for. But today's purchases have a home in mind and will not be banished to the basement quite yet. Also can you believe I scored everything you see below for under $200.00 (and I ordered 2 of the cute tassel pillows)! C. Wonder is currently offering 50% off their sale items which helped out big time ;) Can you tell I am going through a blue period? I have been eyeing the Mr. & Mrs. tumblers from Furbish for a long time now. So. Fun. Maybe for our night stands?

Emerson Fry Spring Preview

There is nothing I don't love about this line. The styling of the girls is easy and clean with no fuss make up and hair (although I am sure a lot of time goes into making it look effortless). These girls are chic and classic with small details of edge and trend. I love the dark sunglasses and I cant wait for Spring!

Vintage Printable: Free Art!

I just discovered Vintage Printable, a website that provides free, public domain/out of copyright images that you can download and print yourself or bring to Costco or another cost effective printer - there is no doubt that framing art can be the expensive part, but if the print is free that can really help! If you are looking for maps, botanical or animal prints, this is a great find. Some of the images are a little crooked, but this can be easily fixed in photo editing software before you print. You can search by color as well, so if you are looking for a print to complement a specific spot, that is nice. Here is a sampling of the types of prints you may find.

Etsy Home Decor - Frugal Finds

I like IKEA & Target as much as the next girl, but it is nice to find things at thrift stores or antique malls also. Knowing you have something that isn't mass produced or one of a kind is special. Etsy is a great place to find these types of items as well. Here are my picks for $25 or less.

Emerson Fry Fall Collection

If you haven't yet heard of Emerson Fry you should check out their website. Emerson and her husband split their time between NYC where they design their posh fashion line and their adorable organic farm in New Hampshire. They have an enviable life and an even cuter fashion line.  Here is a great article from Boston Magazine about the chic and ridiculously good-looking couple.

My favorite looks from their sophisticated Fall Collection:

Serena & Lily

I remember the first time I was leafing through a home magazine and came across Serena & Lily.  I had never been so excited about bedding. I was a little disappointed to discover that the price tag matched the high quality and to this day I own nothing made by Serena & Lily - but it remains my most coveted bedding source.

The Fiona Bedding was what caught my eye a few years ago and is no longer sold on their website but you can get it here. Perfectly girly without the girly colors.
Some of my other favorite rooms all found on the Serena & Lily website.
