It isn't likely that many of us actually store eggs in an egg basket anymore. But these wire baskets are cool for holding fruit or displaying soaps, hand towels, magazines....even firewood. They are fun because they come in all shapes and colors and most of them are under $25. They would also be an east target for spray paint :) I think I would spray mine gold and keep scarves in it.
